Objective
I am very eager to expand my knowledge, learn something new and also bring to your organization
enthusiasm, dedication, responsibility, and good work ethic, combined with a desire to utilize my skills obtained
through experience in the following areas:
Experience
Southwest Funding, LP February 2013 – July 2013
Mortgage Loan Closer:
Reviewing signed loan documents received from Title Agencies, including pre-funding reconciliations of Good
Faith Estimates and HUD Settlement Statement. Review/Clear closing conditions to ensure they meet all
applicable guidelines. After we funded a loan, we would complete and balance wire transfers’ then notify
escrow with funding figures. Once a loan closed, then I had to ship the investors a closing/legal package,
underwriting/credit packages and a completed color appraisal. Once I had the packages completed I had to
either over night them a huge package or upload the packages in their pipeline database. I used the calyx system
around eight hours a day. Completing purchase advices’ through MERS online. Registering loans in to MERS.
Some days I would help the insuring department with Mortgage Insurance Premiums’, completing HUD binders
and FHA Case Assignments. Working with Loan Originators on a daily basis. This was my first Mortgage Loan
Closing position. I really enjoyed the work and want to get some more experience in this field! We worked
mainly on FHA loans but we also did conventional loans, Chase/USDA, Rural Development loans and VA
(Veterans’) loans. Our banks were Great Western, Franklin American Mortgage and Monitex. Our main
investors were Stonegate Mortgage Corporation, Pacific Union, Interbank and The Money Source. All had
different procedures and guidelines.
Pierson Patterson, LLP July 2012 – February 2013
Mortgage Doc. Prep. Specialist/Processor:
Drawing documents, loan packages and transferring assignments for many different banks like JPMorgan
Chase, Homeward, Wells Fargo, Bank of NY Mellon, MERS etc.) This job was very straightforward, inputting
data in to the mortgage software (Digital Docs and iPortal) and the packages would generate themselves once
all information was entered accurately. Then I would print the packages and scan them in to iPortal. The
information we entered consisted of long legal descriptions, parcel numbers, MIN numbers and all of the banks’
and borrowers’ detailed information.
Bank of America Home Loans January 2012 – July 2012
Mortgage Loan Funder (Post-Closings):
First mortgage opportunity, loved it. I started funding mortgages in the Post-Closing status. Applying any type
of payments sent in toward the borrowers’ principal balance, escrows and workout fees. Using a ton of different
Mortgage software’s like Bank of Americas' SharePoint system, AS400, Homesaver etc. Transferring data from
the loan documents that we had to pull out of the document systems we used. (Agreements, Loan Analysis and
Workout Letters.)
