1. Mini project:
> Title : "Study on Hydraulic Puller".
> Description
: Twin table car is used to transport the blooms
from continuous casting department to bloom
storage yard. During the operation of transport
the wheels of twin table car fail. To reduce
the problem of failing of axles during the
removing process, we suggest that
implementation of hydraulic puller. By using
the modified technology we saved the time &
cast, we saved repair cost of Rs.266250/- per
month.
2. Main project:
> Title : " Fabrication of Micro - Hydro Turbine.
> Description : This project is about the design and
fabrication of Micro-
hydro turbine. The main objective of this
project is to develop the procedures to design
and fabricate a prototype of micro-hydro
turbine to generate energy. This project also
covers the design selection and analysis of the
micro-hydro turbine.
There is room forimprovementon this system.
Other Senior Design groups can experiment
with the design and prototype provided in
this project. Creating next generations on
this project can lead to an accurate and
reliable system that can be used the students
to help develop new and more efficient
turbines. To work on improvements on this
project is necessary to find the right
resources, economical and technical, to make
real improvements.
