CONTROL OF SINGLE PHASE GRID CONNECTED INVERTERS WITH

NON LINEAR LOADS

• This project presents a technique for harmonic compensation and power factor

correction of non linear loads employing shunt active power filter.

• The pulse width modulated(PWM) technique is then use to generate the required

gate drive signals to the converter.

• Power factor and harmonics problem in industry power systems with non linear

loads presented.

• Traditional and modern advanced technologies for power factor improvement and

harmonics mitigation are reviewed result presented for both advanced

technologies.
