DoD C-IED efforts. Provided technical analysis on 54 C-IED initiatives in response to Chairman, Joint Chief of Staff

Program Offices to ensure the successful integration of over 60 AtN Special Program Counter Improvised Explosive
Device (C-IED) innovations with the services of other government agencies (OGAs). Efforts resulted in the
introduction of material and nonmaterial solutions to defeat violent extremist IED networks, and the rapid
development and deployment of cutting edge AtN C-IED technologies to U.S. and Coalition Forces operating in
Afghanistan and Iraq.
• Provided critical liaison to JCS (J65A), Army Asymmetric Warfare Office (G3/G5/G7), Army CIO (G6), CENTCOM
JFMO, CTEWCC, JCCS-1 (OIF), JTF Paladin (OEF), and JIEDD Test Board on all RCIED/Spectrum Deconfliction
operational issues. Efforts resulted in the operational fielding of 22 ground-based and airborne C-IED systems to
Warfighters in Iraq and Afghanistan.
• Provided critical and time sensitive IED indications and warnings to TF Paladin and TF Troy commanders during
weekly secure VTCs. Direct interaction with tactical commanders saved lives and ensured the requirements of the war
fighter were met.
• Superior knowledge and implementation of DIACAP policies and coordination between Defense Information
Systems Agency and 10 Program Offices led to early certification and accreditations, IATO and ATO approvals, and
deployment of C-IED initiatives to CENTCOM AORs.
• Expertly led a 32-person Information Technology Division towards the accurate completion of all tasks ahead of
schedule; enhanced the security of the Command’s Information Systems Infrastructure. Was responsible for
developing, implementing and coordinating activities to ensure, protect and restore IT systems; interpreting IT
policies; monitoring system compliance; and providing guidance on a variety of IT security issues.
• Ensured all IA certifications and accreditations were conducted in accordance with DoD Instruction 8500.2; efforts
resulted in the identification of information security requirements and security solutions, and ensured all C-IED

• Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Officer, Command Security Manager and OPSEC Officer for a
269-person U.S. Navy Combat Ship.
• Expertly led ANZIO’s Cryptologic and Intelligence Team during highly successful Baltic Operations 05 (BALTOPS
05), NATO Joint Maritime Course Exercise 043 (JMC-043), USS KEARSARGE Battle Group Opposition Force
(KSG OPFOR), GROUPSAIL 05, and $3,000,000.00 Ship's Signal Exploitation Space (SSES) modernization.
• Efficiently managed the command’s SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT, EW, INFOSEC, and Sensitive Compartmented
Information Facility (SCIF) operations. Successfully managed the Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment Phase II
Increment E (SSEE INC E) system upgrade. The SSEE INC E upgrade was the first major modernization to ANZIO's
SSES in 12 years and it significantly increased the ship's overall SIGINT and combat readiness by 90 percent.
• Reported over 72 Special SOIs and 34,400 RDF SOIs to Tactical Commanders and national level consumers during
BALTOPS 05. Maintained superior collaboration with the Intelligence Community, other government agencies, and
senior military and national authorities.
• Meticulously supervised a 15 person Combat Information Center (CIC) watch team. Ensured accurate and timely
reporting of all SITREPS over the Command Net in a professional manner. Ensured CIC executed all operations
IAW Surface Group’s Schedule of Events.
• Managed 55 Top Secret SCI and 214 Top Secret and Secret Collateral personnel security clearance accounts.
• Served as the subject matter advisor to Commanding Officer and subordinates or other officials having a direct
interest in the adjudicative process. Ensured proper safeguarding of classified information in the work areas.
• Collaborated with Department of the Navy Central Adjudication Facility and Office of Personnel Management to
