Research Interests
My research interests lie in the efficacy of virtual reality exposure
therapy in treating phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction
counseling and examining the effectiveness of interventions on individuals
engaging in drug abuse and reckless behaviors. Observation of the cognitive
changes related to Alzheimer's disease and effective coping mechanism
implementation, the deficiencies of the United States prison system and
ways to reduce recidivism, and Intergroup relations including antecedents
of racial guilt as they pertain to the development of prejudice thought
patterns and discriminatory behaviors.
