Medical Assistant Certified

I am interested in the Certified Medical Assistant position at advocare pediatrics that I have inquired from Lorene Nolan.

Currently, I am working at Maplewood Family Medicine, in Maplewood, New Jersey. This is a unique practice, as it is one of the first hospital owned outpatient practices in the area. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to work in private practice at Franklin Medical Associates in Franklin, NJ.

I graduated Sussex County Community College as a Certified Medical Assistant and began working immediately. Some of my strengths include: establishing immediate patient rapport, obtaining chief complaints, preparing rooms and assisting in minor surgeries, scheduling patient appointments, consulting on lab result with patients, venipunctures, urinalysis, hearing/vision tests, EKGS, and administer injections. Additionally, filling and entering prescriptions, and managing/triaging telephone calls. My current employments have trained me to multi-task in fast-paced working environments. Further, the importance of both patient safety and satisfaction, as well as, optimizing processes in the office. In the future, I plan on pursuing a career as a Physician's Assistant while simultaneously working as a medical assistant.
