Hill Management is the commercial division of Home Sales and is a major private landowner and
developer in the Baltimore and surrounding areas.
Job responsibilities included all aspects of managing all commercial interior alterations projects as well
as capital improvement projects, working closely with general contractors for new construction projects,
and supervise the construction department employees. New projects included retail, flex space and mini
warehousing. Hill Management’s portfolio includes approximately 4,000,000 square feet of commercial
tenant space. Project management involved interacting with the Leasing Agents and Property Managers,
contract negotiations, creation of construction schedules, and problem solving to insure that all jobs are
completed on time and under budget. Additionally, I also developed a Specification Handbook for all
Tenant Improvement projects. Software used: Timberline, Virtual Boss, Microsoft Word and Excel,
ACT database, email.
Sensormatic (formerly Advanced Entry Systems) 1987 – 1994 Dallas, Texas
Advanced Entry was a commercial security company specializing in the installation and servicing of
security equipment, CCTV systems, gate access, fire alarm and the integration of these systems.
Office Management including coordinating service calls for our customers, maintaining document
library, purchasing, negotiating contracts for office services and equipment, supervision of office support
staff up to 6 employees, and accounts receivables. I left Advanced Entry when the company was sold to
Sensormatic and the stability of my job had become a concern. Many positions were being eliminated
as a result of the acquisition. At that time, I moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to my family.
