MINI PROJECT:

Title: Generation and Trasmission of Electrical Energy by Combined Cycle

Power Plant.

Description: In this project, the Generation and Transmission of electrical

energy by combined cycle power plant. Gas turbo power station (G.T.P.S) and

Steam turbo power station (S.T.P.S) are combined together to get power by

using Natural gas and Steam. The overall efficiency of GTPS is 30%.After

combining with steam; it is increased up to 50 % (from earlier 30%).

Title: A Bi-Directional DC-DC Converter for an Energy Storage System with

Additional

Function of Galvanic Isolation

Description: In order to increase the power density, the discontinuous

conducting mode (DCM) and small inductance is adopted for high power

bidirectional dc-dc converter. The DC-DC converter can charge the capacitor

bank from zero to the rated voltage without any external recharging

circuit.
