Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental working conditions are followed at
all times.
Implementation of policies, procedures and systems to provide for a safe and secure
business operation.
Enforce safe working practices and ensure lost time incidents are kept to a
Minimum.
Drive and maintain the Company's global HSE reputation.
Perform regular audits and monitor HSE performance to identify areas for
improvement, and ensure that appropriate corrective or preventative actions are
taken, including follow-up reviews.
Coordinate preparation of statistics pertaining to Company HSE activity for use by
Company personnel and outside agencies.
Ensure that emergencies are handled fulfilling the requirements of the regulations

confirm validity and that local Emergency Response Teams are operational at all
times.

To be responsible in advising project management on the proper implementation of
the Health, Safety & Environment Program.
To coordinate with the clients safety representative on matters necessary for the
proper implementation of the LPP/HSE Program.
Review and approve subcontractor HSE documents, i.e. HSE plan, Risk Inventory
and Risk evaluation, Task risk Analysis, Method Statement and JSA's.
Ensure all document i.e. Method Statement, inspection and Tests plan and inspection
forms are approved and in place before the start of any activity.
Ensure that all MSDS, Check list of materials and equipment delivered on site are
inspected and approved in accordance with the project specification and other
acceptable standards.
Monitored strict compliance of "Permit to Work" system at worksite & explain the
importance of the same to the workers.
Conduct emergency drills as prescribed by the manual and record the same Analysis
& investigating of all Incidents with route cause & corrective actions
Conduct internal audits, Co-ordination of Management review meetings, coordination
of External Audit by third party and ensure due compliance to action.
Implementation of Company Safety Policy, Rules, Work Procedures, Implementation
of Check Lists, Preparation of Inspection Reports, Accident Advisory Reports and
Statistics.
Ensuring safety load calibrations for material handling equipments and other utilities.
Responsible for making Emergency Exit and Evacuation Plan.
Training and identifying selected persons as Fire watchers and Rescuers.
Preparing and circulating Emergency Response Plan, contingency plan.

Conduct continues and planned inspection covering all areas as necessary. Every
inspection will be followed by a clear written report of all findings both unsafe
conditions / acts which was observed / noticed with recommendation to prevent the
same.
Prepare weekly and Monthly accomplishment safety report.
Attend client & contractor weekly coordination safety meeting.
Implement job bulletin received from the client.
Monitor and heavy lift activities on site and ensure all necessary documents ie., all
type of permit, lifting accessories and ground are conditions or soil density test
records available prior to lifting.
Coordinate daily with the project manager regarding work performance, and have the
authority to stop the work in any areas where discrepancies remain unsafe, and shall
cancel the work under upon satisfactory correction of the noted safety discrepancies.
Strict implementation of Loss prevention Program approved by the Client and
company HSE policy.
Ensure erected scaffolding is properly installed and safe to use with scaffolding tags.
Conduct weekly food audit to ensure the food being served is prepared clean
Verify licenses/certification of all equipment and vehicle drivers, operators, catering
staff and ensure they are in compliance with company HSE manual requirement and
as per the country law.
Responsible for monitoring the work location for flammable or toxic material and \
ignition sources on a regular basis prior to start of activities
Take all Safety precautions like appropriate barriers, signs, symbols and notices will
be displayed on areas, where hazardous works such as radiography, Pressure testing,
confined space entry, deep excavations, heavy lifting etc,
