DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF 1 KB SRAM CELL ON CADENCE TOOL

SRAM is a type of semiconductor memory that uses bistable latching circuitry to store each bit. The term

SRAM differentiates it from DRAM which must be periodically refreshed. SRAM exhibits data remanence

but it is still volatile in the conventional sense that data is eventually lost when the memory is not powered .

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF 2X2 DRAM CELL ON CADENCE TOOL

DRAM is the main memory unit for all desktop and large computer.it has very high level of memory

density having only one transistor and one capacitor compared to SRAM having six transistors.Therefore

billions can fit on a single chip. It is volatile and cost is also very low.
