I achieved a B.E Degree in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University in 2003, followed by a PG Diploma in
Piping Engineering from MIT, Pune in 2004.
I have, from graduation and up to now, successfully completed a comprehensive variety of assignments for Offshore
FPSOs/Platforms and Onshore Refineries/ Petrochemical/Pharmaceutical Plants.
I have over 9 years’ experience which covers Design Coordination, Planning/ Scheduling, Progress
Monitoring/Reporting, Team Management, Change Management, Co-ordination with Clients and Vendors etc.
I have undertaken assignments for major companies in India including Jacobs Engineering, Essar Constructions Ltd,
Oiltech Engineering Ltd, NPCC Engineering Ltd etc. and I am familiar with ASME, API, OSHA, OISD & ISO
standards/Regulations. Also, I am well versed with ISO 9001:2008 and Project Management Guidelines.
I have extensive experience with MS Projects software and good understanding of the application of
other engineering tools, e.g. MS Office, PDMS 3D/2D, Smart Plant Review etc.
I have worked on projects for Apache, HLJOC, Bumi Armada, ONGC, Exxon Mobil, Novartis, Tuwarqui etc.

EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
1) Nov 2012 – Mar 2013, Sr.Project Engineer, NPCC Engineering India Ltd
Role:
Was involved in the preparation of technical bids for Offshore Wellhead Platform Projects.
Achievements:
Developed the Project Execution Plans which included Man-hour estimates, Schedule of activities, Baseline WBS,
Deliverable List, Organization Charts etc. Also prepared periodic Progress Reports with S-Curves.
Conducted Internal Audits to ensure that the design engineering works are as per company’s quality norms.
Learnt the fundamentals of Offshore Wellhead Platforms.
Projects Handled:
• C-26 & B173 AB Well Platform Projects for ONGC, India (Technical Bid).
• ADMA OPCO Project, Abu Dhabi (Technical Bid).
2) Oct 2009 – Nov 2012, Project Coordination cum Planning Engineer, Oiltech Engineering India Ltd.
Role:
Was involved in the detailed engineering of FPSO Topside Modules.
Achievements:
Learnt the fundamentals of Floating Production Storage and Offloading Systems (FPSO).
Controlled and co-ordinated the design efforts across multiple disciplines towards detailed engineering of FPSO
Topside Modules. Successfully completed 4 FPSO Projects- 3 Greenfield and 1 Brownfield.
Utilized my knowledge of MS Projects and MS Office for effective Planning & Scheduling of all Engineering
activities and developed a user-friendly Project Progress Tracking System using MS Office. This enabled the
team to log in the activities completed everyday on the main server. This information was used to calculate and
track the progress based on simple & effective calculations and also presented an overall status of the project at
any required stage. Also administered the periodic Progress Reports along with S Curves & Manpower
Histograms.

Conducted periodic design reviews, PDMS Model Reviews & clash reviews to ensure that the design is as per
stakeholder’s requirements and address various issues. Suggestions for value additions, change management &
risk mitigation protocols were also discussed during these sessions.
Maintained close liaisons with the clients, vendors and team to ensure delivery of the allocated package of
engineering tasks in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Scope of Work.
Improved the existing team communication protocols by developing a simple and effective communication
matrix based on the information to be communicated, hierarchy & level of approval required for the issues. This
resulted in a smooth and proper flow of information among the stake holders.

Streamlined the existing design verification protocol and spearheaded the development of company standard
procedures .e.g. ‘Procedure for Design Verification and Control”, ‘CAD Drafting Standards” etc. which included
flowcharts for easy understanding of the procedure. This enhanced the quality of the output deliverables to a
great extent while reducing the time spent in corrections and re-drafting.

As part of the core team of Quality Management Committee, which was established with the intent of ISO 9001:
2008 Accreditation of the company, I was appointed the Lead Coordinator of Quality Documents, wherein, I
developed and administered various quality procedures e.g. Procedure for Document Control, Records Control,
Corrective and Preventive Actions, Internal Quality Audit etc. Also, I supervised and coordinated the
preparation of Work Instructions pertaining to various activities across multiple disciplines. All these documents
were a part of the basic framework of Oiltech Engineering Quality Standards.

Role:
Was involved in the detailed engineering of Refineries, Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical Plants.
Achievements:
(Role-1: Piping Engineer – Mar 2006 till May 2007)
Utilized my knowledge of PDMS 3D/2D for the designing of various Onshore Projects. Performed Support
Design, Isometric Checks, Consistency Checks, Model Reviews etc.
Promoted the usage of macros which optimized the PDMS Modeling time and ensured relatively less errors.
(Role-2: Piping Project Engineer – May 2007 till Oct 2009)
Utilized my knowledge of MS Projects for Planning. Scheduling the various activities and tracking the progress
of Piping department. Prepared periodic Progress Reports along with S-Curves and Manpower Histograms
Successfully coordinated the inter and intra department design efforts to ensure that all inputs and outputs are
in accordance with the approved Project Plan and within the stipulated time period.
Successfully administered the Hold lists and Vendor Information Lists which ensured the proper and timely

Was involved in the Site Execution activities of Jamnagar Refinery Construction Project.
Achievements:
Handled the piping execution activities pertaining to the FCCU Unit of the Jamnagar Oil
Refinery.
Reviewed the Line List, Design Layout Drawings, Isometrics, P&Ids and prepared scope of daily site work
packs.
Controlled the daily progress of activities like pipe/support erection, fabrication and testing.
Co-ordinated with contractors and managed the assigned workforce.
Ensured strict adherence to HSE protocols and organized periodic safety meetings at the site.
This resulted in Zero Accidents on site.
