DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfil all duties in line with operational and legislative requirements .
Troubleshooting of aircraft and engine systems.
Repositioning of aircraft by means of towing.
Line turn arounds of aircraft including POST and PRE-Flight inspection and completion.
Interpretation of aircraft manuals for maintenance purposes.
Removal and installation and testing of aircraft and engine parts and systems.
Outstanding knowledge of aircraft inspection and service.
Supervision and co-ordination of maintenance tasks.
Aircraft PRE-Flight diagnosis and preventative scheduled maintenance.
Aircraft repair/rectification and post maintenance functional testing.
Fault investigation, diagnosis and repair.
Scheduled maintenance as detailed in aircraft maintenance program(AMP).
OTHER SKILLS
The management and supervision of engineers responsible for servicing, maintenance
and flight line handling.
Ability to work in high stress enviromentals while maintaining quality
and meeting targets.
Exellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Paperwork associated with maintenance of aircraft.
