Acted as a subject matter expert to present the new commitment module in the CitiComp system to global compensation managers to reduce costs by
using two systems to track this information. By combining the systems, this data will automatically feed to the employee’s planning page and reduce
the probability of human error. With the help of our team’s feedback, a suite of reports and enhancements have been implemented and will be rolled
out in later phases.
Fostered a teamwork environment conducive to consistent dialogue across the regions. I served as a liaison between third party vendors and our
compensation management team. As any changes were needed, I negotiated with the vendor to get the enhancements important to our business
completed with limited development time.
Tracked many of the sign on bonuses and guarantees annually at both the exempt and non exempt level.
Professional Experience (continued)
Trained the HR generalists at various sites on the report suites created in ad hoc and any new enhancements to the compensation system.
Worked with Directors by creating reports to complete the pool allocation to be presented to finance department and the SHRO’s. Created many
department process procedures and set completion dates to track the many projects assigned to our team and help identify areas of opportunity.

Promoted the retirement benefits and administered a broad range of HR functions including training employees, administering benefits, overseeing

lead a project to reduce the weight of pipes used in the coal plant.
Key Results:
Trained 15 different HR teams on the benefit of employees contributing to the 401(k) defined contribution plans and how employees should evaluate
their risk factor on their investments.
Worked closely with the CEO to identify areas of opportunity within the organization to save money by using the lean methodology and implemented
many changes using six sigma practices.
Identified the need to create an online program to calculate defined benefits. Upon entering this department, the 55 page calculation was prepared by
hand using an adding machine. The maximum calculations that could be done in a day were 4 due to this manual process. With the introduction of
Pension Express, the human error factor was reduced and we were able to complete 30+ calculations in a day if needed. The enhancement to even
create all forms that were identified necessary to start a pension benefit was added to even save more time. Calculated and processed QDRO’s for
employees.
Trained all HR personnel on improved processes and served as the SME for all enhancements and updates in Pension Express. Collaborated with the

Created reports using Microsoft programs (Excel and Access) to reconcile the pension payments. Upon entering the department, this process was
manual using accounting paper and pencil. It needed too much validation due to the manual process. By moving to the Microsoft programs, a week
of time was saved by two employees by using an electronic format.
