Orchestrated the turnaround of operations in Warrington, England. Promoted to serve as General Manager in 2001. It was an expatriate assignment for three years. I performed a turnaround in less than two years by increasing operational efficiency by 38%, eliminating customer quality rejections from an inherited $3million to less than $10K in the 1st year, increasing the customer satisfaction rating from 45% to 95%, Led the implementation of TS16949, ISO14001 and ISO17025. Developed new Supplier in South America. Left England to go to Brazil and develop a new supplier to enable the company to retain competitive edge in pricing for the automotive contracts. Was given two years to complete the development, had Supplier approved by Honda NA and Japan and Toyota Japan in 8 months, new product shipped globally to Eagle Ottawa facilities in 10 months. Price negotiation yielded additional $3million in savings from original price expectations. Installed Eagle Ottawa operating practices at the Supplier’s operations.
