Objective

I am looking for an opportunity to use my experience and leadership to advance a well organized and stable company. I

have been commission only or self employed for over 25 years. I am self motivated and aggressive. I know how to ask

for the order and close the sale. My objective is to find a good match in a company, which sees the need for my skill set,

and succeed.

Experience

Stockbroker experience 1987 1999

From 1987 1999 I was a Vice President for three brokerage firms (Oppenheimer, PaineWebber and Morgan Keegan). As

a broker I built a client base via phone solicitation and personal contact. My minimum new account was $10,000 and I

averaged over 70 new accounts per year.

Restaurant Owner 2000 2003

In 2000 I developed, designed, built and ran a 5,000 sq ft restaurant in Tulsa, OK. It was a Sport based theme and served

4 star food. It averaged $1.2 million per year in revenue and maintained a great local reputation of giving back to the

community.

Manufacturing Owner 2004 Present

In 2004 I bought a small sportswear company out of the Tulsa World classifieds and turned it into an industrial sewing

company serving over 25 different industries, as well as, gaining 4 military contracts.

Education

Houston CC / University of Houston 1984 1987

I attended HCC and UH following High School. I self studied for the Series 7 (stockbrokers exam) upon passing it I went

to work for Oppenheimer and advanced rapidly. I did not have time to complete my degree. I am more than willing to

complete it if necessary. However, my work experience and successes far exceed my college based learning.

Skills

I am proficient in Windows based and Mac based software, QuickBooks, Adobe Illustrator and most web building

software’s.

Although I am not fluent I can communicate in Spanish.

Sports based recreation (golf, hunting, tennis, etc.)

Due to my vast experience I can socialize in virtually any environment.
