Presently working as an Engineer in ABG Shipyard Ltd. Dahej (Bharuch), Gujarat, India. Current Project: 32K

DWT Bulk Carrier for PSL (Chintana Naree named ship delivered) II vessel of same series is in progress.

Duration: May 2012 to till date.

Job Responsibilities:

Cable routing inspection.

Carrying out commissioning and testing of Main Switch Board, Emergency Switch Board and DG as per

contract specification and Classifications Rule book and dock trial protocol.

Carrying out commissioning of electrical systems like Fire Detection Alarm System, Tank Gauging

System, Water Ingress System, Local Application System, C O2 System, Smoke Detection System,

Auto Telephone And Public Addressing System etc. as per contract specification and Classifications

Rule book and dock trial protocol.

Carrying out dock trials of electrical equipment as per contract specification and Classifications Rule book

and dock trial protocol.

Carrying out sea trials as per classifications rule book.

Coordination with production, owner and Classification society in inspection.

Inspection of Structural fire protection plan according to drawing & rules (SOLAS).

Dry survey and hose testing of weather tight & water tight door, win dows, scuttles and booby hatches.

LSA and FFA surveys.

Outfitting items surveys (manholes, ladders etc.)

W orked as a Junior Engineer in Pashchim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (PGVCL), Upleta Rural sub-division, Dist.:

Rajkot (GUJARAT) in Operation & Maintenance (O & M) Department Duration: May-2011 to April-2012

Job Responsibilities:

Have done Site survey, material & cost calculation and erection of LT (440 V) and HT(11 KV) line.

Have worked in oracle based software e-urja.

Reduction of T & D loss of line by cabling, meter replacement & checking of lighting connection for power

theft.

W orking experience in Maintenance of LT & HT line.

Managing the documentation related to tatkal scheme.

Software Proficiency

C Programming, Circuit Maker, MATLAB Simulink.

I have given the seminar presentation on Wind – Diesel hybrid electrical power generation system.
