Objective:
My experience teaching in the Little Rock area, working with a variety of
young people ranging from 'at risk' environments to academically advanced
students; coupled with my academic qualifications has allowed me to develop
an extensive understanding of the issues encountered by families in today's
diverse society. In addition, my professional and personal experience has
allowed me to develop a multi-cultural philosophy toward education and life
in general; it is my belief that everyone can learn and that all
individuals experiences and beliefs should be utilized in the pursuance of
understanding and appreciation of world issues. I am currently seeking an
opportunity that will allow me to use my extensive customer service
experience gained in the United Kingdom, as well as my more recent
experience in the education field. My personal sense of achievement and
success is grounded in a desire to make a difference through education that
allows individuals to reach their full potential.

Personal Statement
I am seeking a leadership opportunity in an environment that encourages
advancement through excellence and promotes ethical practices as well as
exceptional work ethic. I have been teaching for the past five years, three
years with Little Rock School District and two with alternative educational
environments for troubled youth. I am seeking the opportunity for
employment where there is compliance and emphasis on state standards and
education law while accommodating the individual needs of varying learning
styles and needs. I have had both professional experience developing and
implementing RTI and completed course work in Special Education law.
In 1995 I started my family and decided to take a break from work to raise
my children. During this time our family relocated from the United Kingdom
to the United States.
