DESCRIPTION : Operations like Coal conveyor movement, Steam
generation, Turbine rotation, Power generators, Exhaust gases from
chimney, Vapours from cooling tower.
ORGANIZATION : INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION, Sriharikotta.
DESCRIPTION : It provides details of Spacecraft, Launchers,
facilities and Space science activities. I got an exposure to the
Space technology. Also had an opportunity to saw the Spacecraft
models.
. IN-PLANT TRAINING -
ORGANISATION: INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY, Chennai.
. PROJECT:
TITLE : FUZZY LOGIC BASED DIFFERENTIAL RELAY FOR
POWER TRANSFORMER PROTECTION.
ENVIRONMENT: Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
TEAM SIZE : Two
DESCRIPTION : To prevent false triggering of differential relay we
introduced intelligent mechanism called "fuzzy logic" for the power
transformer and transmission line protection. Our system detects the
current difference between the primary and the secondary, it also
checks for other causes using fuzzy logic which is programmed in
microcontroller and operates the relay only when essential.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
. Secured 3rd position in Project Exhibition and received cash award and
a certificate of merit for Best Project (2012 - 2013).
. Received cash award for good academic performance in college 1st and
2nd year.
