Skills : • I have performed a variety of routine blood draw

procedures using veinpuncture techniques

implementing standard equipment including

vaccutainer tubes, sleeves, tourniquets, and butterfly

needles. Communicating with patients to obtain

information for laboratory records and the explain

procedures. I also use standard procedures to obtain

a positive patient identification and record

appropriate collection information on the proper

requisitions. Other skills include, preparing,

processing, labeling, and storing patient specimens

and samples according to department procedures.
