and Burj Al-Arab area to Dubai Marina. It serves Knowledge village and the

Pearl, connect to the Monorail at Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai Marina area.

Connections to the Metro Red Line also are provided. The transit system runs

along a distance of 14 Km, have 19 stations.

Project II : DUBAI CREEK CROSSINGS SIXTH CROSSING CORRIDOR (BUR

DUBAI SIDE) - Contract R777/3C1

The contract was connected with Sheikh Rashid Road and the new Garhood

Bridge by proposed interchange (SXC-1) within contract R777/3C2 from the

West side and was connected by the Sixth Crossing Bridge over the Creek

within R777/3A1 from the East side, also it connect with R800/1 from the

North side and with R800/3A from North-East side.

Project III : COMPREHENSIVE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PARALLEL ROADS

CONTRACT – R 881 – 2A, R 881 – 2C, R 881 – 3A, R 881 – 3B

The parallel roads cross the city from Sheikh Rashid road near Zabeel Park and

the Dubai World Trade Centre in the North to the Abu Dhabi border in South.

They pass through the localities such as Zabeel, Dubai International Financial

Centre, Burj Dubai, Dubai Mall, Business Bay, Al Quoz industrial and

residential areas, Al Barsha, Emiorates Hill, Jumeirah Islands, Ibn Battuta Mall,

Jeeb Ali Free Zone and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Technology Park.

Project IV : IMPROVEMENTS OF SHEIKH RASHID BIN HUMAID ROAD AJ-001

The project includes widening from lane dual carriageway to three lanes in

addition to three underpasses along Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Road. The

roadway element of the project will also include any necessary modifications to

the junctions on the above mentioned roads in addition to access schemes for

the surrounding communities.

Project V : ACCESS ARRANGEMENT TO RASHIDIYA PARK & RIDE STATION R

As part of work, access is to be provided in all directions from the entry/exit

points of the Rashidiya Park and Ride station by utilizing ramps and bridges of

the existing interchange.

Project VI : THE BURJ KHALIFA FUN TROLLEY VIADUCT

Fun Trolley (Monorail) run along for 1.3 Km line to shuttle people across the

Burj Dubai district. An efficient system that incorporates the light rail system.

Project VII : THE BURJ KHALIFA DEVELOPMENT THREE BRIDGES PACKAGE

[Client : EMAAR Properties]

The 3 pedestrian bridges that links the Burj Khalifa with the nearby Island Park.
