Founded in 1952 by five mothers of young children with developmental disabilities, the Association For Community Living was the first organization in Hampden County dedicated to serving individuals with an intellectual disability.

Now, 64 years later, we’ve helped transform the lives of thousands of families throughout Western Massachusetts.

Along the way we’ve learned that everyone has their own path to travel. And we’ve learned that being able to see and understand the path helps a lot. So we changed our name to reflect who we are today.
