Material Clerks Supervisor jobs

In The Box Packing Services Inc. located at 491 Nelson Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 2E2, is looking for a full time
Material Clerks Supervisor (NOC 1215).
As a Material Clerks Supervisor, your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Establish work schedules and procedures
-Resolve work related problems
-Train workers in duties and policies
-Co-ordinate, assign and review work,
-Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
-Supervise packers by providing on-site job training and follow up reviews
-Establish work schedules for packers
-Respond to supply shortages by forecasting and pre-ordering
-Prioritize orders and ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
The minimum requirements of qualifications and experience are as follow:
-Have minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in the packing and/ or moving industry
-Prefer post-secondary training in business administration or trade management
-Have knowledge of intentional packing standards
As a member of Canadian Association of Movers (CAM), the company must adhere to the international packing
standards
for overseas deliveries.
-Prefer experience as a packing estimator
-Have a valid BC driver's license
-Have legal authorization to work in Canada
-Experience in supervising a team of more tha n 5 employees is a strong asset
-Experience in managing inventory and coordinating with suppliers is a strong asset
Wage: $26.44 per hour, minimum 30 hours per week, 50% more than the regular wages for overtime, plus 4% or 10
days of paid vacation plus statutory holidays.
