Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a crucial role in providing compassionate and resident-centered care to our seniors. You will assist with daily living activities and ensure the highest quality of life for our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering age-appropriate care per care plans
Assisting residents with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Documenting care and changes in resident conditions
Providing psychosocial support and engaging residents in wellness and recreational programs
Maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas and assisting with meal preparation
Communicating effectively with the nursing staff regarding resident care
Assisting nursing staff with medical procedures and collecting vital signs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is a plus
Must obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within four months of hire
Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits is required
For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be necessary
Ability to meet driving requirements if requested
