Position Overview
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation testing across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have programming expertise in Java, Python, or C#, and practical experience with at least two automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Hammer, or Cyara.
Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred, along with exposure to testing applications like IVR, Voice, LAD, or Live Chat systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the SDLC.
Implement automation frameworks and enhance existing test suites to improve test efficiency.
Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing using automation tools.
Analyze test results, log defects, and provide detailed documentation for remediation.
Participate in test planning, test case design, and continuous integration (CI/CD) test pipelines.
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed across all test phases.
Required Skills & Experience
Programming Languages: Java, Python, or C#.
Automation Tools (any 2+): Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Hammer, Cyara.
Domain: Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments preferred.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA automation best practices.
Hands-on experience testing Mobile and Web applications, including systems like IVR, Voice, LAD, or Live Chat.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with API automation testing (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar).
Exposure to cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure)
