Job Details

This role oversees the design, deployment, and upkeep of SCADA systems-primarily on the Ignition platform-to ensure accurate data flow, reliable automation, and strong integration with field devices and databases. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain system performance and drive continuous improvements in site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and launch new SCADA systems and related PLC/HMI elements.

Diagnose and resolve communication, data integrity, and system performance issues.

Integrate SCADA platforms with databases, historians, and telemetry networks.

MUST HAVE:

BS in a related field or equivalent professional experience

3+ years of SCADA systems experience, including design, programming, and commissioning

Ignition SCADA platform - Designer, Gateway configuration, Tag, Perspective

SQL and/or Python scripting

NICE TO HAVE:

PLC/HMI programming

Allen Bradley ControlLogix (RSLogix/Studio 5000)

Ignition SCADA Gold certification

Industrial networking experience
