Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work some weekends during the summer and fall
Compensation: Competitive salary depending on experience, 40 hours guaranteed and yearly compensation will be approximately in the range of $75,000 - $85,000.

Position Overview
A private family in Kent, CT is seeking an experienced and reliable Full-Time Housekeeper to join their household team. The family currently employs a part-time housekeeper and is transitioning the position to a full-time role. The home is occupied by two principals, their two adult children who visit periodically, and two dogs.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working around pets. This role requires someone who can independently manage the cleaning and organization of the home while also collaborating occasionally with the part-time housekeeper during the transition period.
Responsibilities
Perform daily and deep cleaning of all areas of the residence
Manage household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and wardrobe organization
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked household spaces, including closets and storage areas
Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, and finishes using proper cleaning methods
Assist with light meal prep or occasional errands as needed
Coordinate with the part-time housekeeper as the role transitions to full-time
Accept and organize deliveries; maintain household supply inventories
Provide light dog care (feeding, walking, cleaning pet areas)
Ensure the home is guest-ready at all times
Work weekend shifts occasionally during the summer and fall based on family needs
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private home
Excellent references from previous employers
Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Comfortable working around dogs
Strong communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
Experience caring for fine furnishings and delicate surfaces
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation to/from Kent, CT
