Business Systems Analyst Category Management

NOTE: Hybrid work model, 2 days/week in Montreal Office

DESCRIPTION:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements. Translate these into clear specifications for development teams.

Process & Data Analysis

Analyze existing business processes and current solution

Documentation, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria. Maintain documentation in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro

Testing & Quality Assurance

Contribute to test strategy, test case creation, and execution. Validate that solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

Project Support

Assist in project planning and execution. Track progress, manage risks, and support delivery within scope and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, business or a related field

7+ years of work experience in a business systems analyst role

Experience with Category Management - preferred.

Experience with B2B projects - preferred

Strong understanding of Agile SCRUM methodologies and software development lifecycles.

Proficiency in business process modelling, data analysis, and reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in healthcare, pharma, or supply chain domains is a plus.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Product Owners.

Ability to lead without formal authority and influence outcomes across teams.

JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Smartsheet, Excel

Proven ability to research, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems

Agile certification – an asset

CBAP certification – an asset
