Assignment Details

Location: Britton, South Dakota

Position: Travel Director of Nursing (DON)

Shift: 40 hours per week, 5 x 8-hour rotating shifts

Pay Range: $2,800 – $3,006 per week (gross)

Benefits: Housing and meals included in pay package

Bonus: Sign-on bonus available

Requirements

Active RN license (state or compact)

Minimum of 3–5 years nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care or acute settings

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical standards

Current BLS certification

Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing staff and daily operations of the facility

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and administration to deliver high-quality patient care

Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff
