Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Overview

• Shift: 0630-2300 with call required

Requirements

• License: CST

• Certs: BLS

• Experience: 5+ years total CST experience, 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, 1 year CVOR experience, 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility

• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Proficient in general OR, thoracic vascular CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.)

• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing

• Aseptic technique

• Equipment documentation

• Crash cart, scrub & circulate

• Patient charting

Notes

• Scrub/dress code: Required

• Orientation logistics: 80 hours of orientation required
