DescriptionTHIS IS A CT/X-RAY TECH POSITION - PRIMARILY CT WILL BE NEEDED FOR THIS POSTING, BUT X-RAY EXPERIENCE IS ALSO REQUIRED\tPerform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.\tRequires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.\tMay be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or NARH Facility Director.

Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.\tMay be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel or as determined by Manager or Director.\tExcellent communication skills in written, verbal and Tiger Text format required.\tPractices infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.\tMaintains patient confidentiality.\tDemonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.\tDemonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR, CT, and PACs applications.\tCompletes annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.\tMaintains department competencies as required.\tTechnologist will be required to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections.
