We design, build, operate, and maintain cyber-physical solutions for the nation's most recognizable mission-critical facilities, secure environments, complex infrastructure, and global enterprises.Our success relies on great people delivering innovative projects and solutions for Fortune 100 companies and the most recognized agencies in government, defense, and security.The Electrical Foreman 1 is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of a crew of electricians, apprentices and laborers on a job site as well as ensuring that all work installed is completed on time, on budget and according to all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.Job Duties:\n?Managing mid-sized to large projects of 15 or more persons.\nConferring with senior management, supervisory personnel, owners, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.\nScheduling the project in logical steps in order to budget enough time required to meet deadlines.\nDetermining labor requirements and dispatching workers to construction sites\nPlanning, organizing and directing activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.\nInterpreting and explaining plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients\nPreparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.\nDirecting and supervising workers including delegating responsibilities to foremen and electrical technicians and mentoring electrical technicians II and III in order to prepare them for promotion to the next career level.\nMonitoring project budgets in order to ensure positive cash flow and to maintain profitability.\nInspecting and reviewing projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.\n\nRequirements:\nAt least 7 years of experience working in the electrical industry, including 2 years serving as a project foreman.\nHigh School diploma or GED\nPossess a Journeyman Electrician license, preferred.\nExperience working with the Company's management systems such as scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety documentation and quality control.\nExperience overseeing and approving monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.\nEffectively plans manpower and has leadership skills to meet project objectives without significant labor spikes or overtime costs.\nCommunicates effectively both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to work without direct supervision.\nMust have their own tools.\nThis position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.\nMust successfully pass a background check.
\n\nAbilities:\nLifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.\nRelocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.\nWorks at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.\nWalks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.\nPossess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.\nMay use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.\nTell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
