We are looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our Autonomous Driving team. In this role, you will focus on developing intelligent driving functions and managing large-scale data pipelines in a cloud environment. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of safe and intelligent mobility solutions.
Your tasks
Design and implement machine learning models for perception, prediction, and decision-making in autonomous driving systems
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for training and evaluating ML models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and system architects
Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across distributed systems
Analyze large-scale sensor and vehicle data to improve model performance and system behavior
Your qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Data Engineering, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Solid understanding of data engineering principles and cloud-based data processing tools
Familiarity with autonomous driving technologies and sensor data (e.g., LiDAR, radar, camera)
Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale datasets
Practical knowledge of MLOps, data versioning tools, and cloud-native architectures (including infrastructure-as-code)
Understanding of safety and validation requirements in automotive applications
Fluent xjliken in German (C2) and English (B2 or higher)
Willingness to travel occasionally
Strong sense of responsibility, structured working style, and excellent communication skills
Confident, proactive, and comfortable working in intercultural teams
