ER RN Job Details – Vineland, NJ

Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (South Jersey healthcare jobs)

Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Emergency Department

Contract Duration: 8 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Start Date: January 5, 2026

Shift: Variable schedule; weekends required every other or 3 per month

Holiday: None required

Employment Type: Local, W2

Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49

Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,090 - $2,200

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required

Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract assignment)

High-volume, fast-paced ER experience preferred

Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (no pending or soon-to-expire credentials)

Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling)

Maximum of 3 days RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted

No block scheduling or special requests permitted

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department

Respond rapidly and efficiently to emergent situations and trauma cases

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records

Participate in required orientation, including virtual/in-person classes, HealthStream modules, and unit-based training

Obtain in-person hospital ID badge during orientation (photo submissions not accepted)

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
