Ideal Candidate Background

Experience:

1-2 years in a safety-adjacent role within the past 5 years

0-2 years acceptable if coming from a direct safety background (e.g., EMTs, construction safety, healthcare safety)

Certifications:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

Skills:

Strong people/interpersonal skills

Administrative ability (filing, documentation, compliance support)

Growth mindset - willing to develop and grow with the role Relevant Backgrounds

Construction preferred or Manufacturing (especially day 2 environments)

Healthcare safety, EMTs, general safety enthusiasts

Overview

We're seeking three Safety Coordinators to support high-visibility data center projects across multiple Columbus-area sites. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of safety-adjacent experience or direct safety roles in healthcare, construction, or manufacturing environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential for individuals passionate about workplace safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day site safety operations

Maintain documentation and safety compliance records

Assist with onboarding safety practices for new personnel

Monitor low-level risks in a data center environment

Partner with technicians, contractors, and leadership to foster a safety-first culture

Report and file incidents, assist in investigations if needed

Ensure PPE and site safety protocols are followed Qualifications

Experience:

1-2 years in a safety-related or adjacent role within the past 5 years

EMTs, construction safety, healthcare, and manufacturing experience highly encouraged

Certifications:

OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Organized and comfortable with administrative tasks
