Role Overview
The Strategic Operations Manager is an exceptional opportunity for a soon-to-be MBA or Master's student who is eager to build a career in technology, operations, and data-driven strategy.
This individual will join the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team - a cross-functional group responsible for scaling ID.me's revenue engine and preparing the organization for its next growth phase, including our path toward IPO readiness.
The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades who thrives on solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and translating data into actionable business insights. You'll gain exposure to forecasting, pipeline management, systems optimization, analytics, and go-to-market strategy, working closely with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product.
This is a high-visibility role designed for individuals who want to learn how a fast-scaling tech company operates and grow into a future strategic or leadership role in Revenue Operations, Finance, or Corporate Strategy.
This role is based out of our Mountain View, CA or McLean, VA office and requires full-time in-office attendance.
Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Execution
Partner with Revenue Operations leadership to design and execute operational strategies that improve visibility, accountability, and performance across the go-to-market organization.
Support the development and refinement of company-wide KPIs and sales metrics.
Analyze operational performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Streamline internal processes and systems to support scalability as the company prepares for IPO readiness. Pipeline Management & Forecasting
Collaborate with Sales and Finance to build and manage forecasting models.
Support accurate revenue and pipeline forecasting by developing tools and processes for data validation and reporting.
Identify key pipeline conversion levers and build playbooks to optimize funnel performance. Data, Dashboards & Analytics
Develop and maintain dashboards for RevOps, Finance, and leadership to monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and business trends.
Synthesize large datasets into clear insights that guide decision-making and strategic planning.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems. Go-To-Market Strategy & Enablement
Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams to define metrics for success and track progress toward goals.
Recommend strategies and best practices to help teams achieve their targets.
Support strategic deal desk operations by reviewing opportunities, ensuring process adherence, and driving cross-functional coordination. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Finance, and Legal to ensure smooth execution of revenue processes.
Assist with special projects that drive operational excellence and revenue growth across the organization.
Serve as a connector and communicator across teams, driving clarity and alignment around strategic initiatives. Qualifications
Education & Experience
Pursuing an MBA or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field. Graduation date of May/June 2026.
Prior internship or work experience in consulting, finance, operations, or technology preferred.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Skills & Tools
Proficiency in Excel and data modeling required.
Familiarity with Salesforce, BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and CRM analytics preferred.
Strong PowerPoint and presentation-building abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
