We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! This team is built a little different than the average law firm; we take a holistic approach to the practice of law, and to each and every client. ** Responsibilities:**
Conduct research and create timelines for case reviews and strategy sessions with attorneys
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Advocating for clients when dealing with L&I claim managers or insurance adjusters
Finding medical evidence and testimony to support client goals

** Qualifications:**
Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a medical office is helpful but not required
Experience with legal research and case management helpful but not required
Ability to prioritize and multitask required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Deadline and detail-oriented required
Solid command of MS Office Suite required
Strong computer proficiency required
Position starts at $20.00/hour and begins with a 90-day review period. Bonuses and other incentives may be available after the review period.
