If you have a passion for logistics and expertise in ensuring smooth operations, the Operations Manager role is perfect for you. In this position, you'll oversee the effective functioning of our warehouse, which includes managing order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory control activities. Your contributions will be crucial to our ongoing success in delivering exceptional solutions to our global customers.

What to Expect in a Typical Day:

Lead operational and personnel functions to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.

Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate team members effectively, collaborating with the HR team as necessary.

Create work schedules and assign tasks to optimize productivity.

Monitor and approve time and attendance records diligently.

Ensure effective use of all equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.

Implement and maintain the 7S Workplace Organization standard; uphold all safety procedures and policies.

Work closely with staff to manage and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Ensure compliance with contract performance metrics.

Maintain high standards of operational efficiency throughout your processes.

Ensure quality management procedures are adhered to across all teams.

Focus on meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards as dictated by the company and customer needs.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you should possess:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution.

5 years of management or supervisory experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and familiarity with computerized scanning equipment.

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Bilingual English/Spanish.

Knowledge and experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement methodologies.

Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments.

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Working knowledge of financial accounting, including budget management.
