Porter ObGyn is seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations for a busy practice that can serve up to100+ patients per day across 12 providers. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and oversight for front desk staff, processes, and procedures, ensuring exceptional patient experience and operational efficiency while having a strong focus in process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Oversight: Supervise and support front desk team members, ensuring adherence to workflows and service standards.
Process & Procedure Management: Maintain and improve scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient flow processes.
Staff Coordination: Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Problem Solving: Address operational challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between front desk staff, clinical teams, and management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, privacy regulations, and quality standards. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The PMG Lead Coordinator is responsible for supervising front desk staff and ensuring all operations align with Porter Medical Center's established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one year of education and/or experience in a medical office setting.
Skills in oral and written communication, negotiation, problem resolution and coordination. Knowledge of computer applications and word processing.
Knowledge of LSS and Meditech/Epic preferred.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous ObGyn or women's health experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Experience scheduling surgeries and other surgical procedures is preferred.
Technical: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems preferred.
