Job Description:

Time of class: Online Position Description:

Teach during the academic year didactic and clinical components of the MSN or DNP courses as assigned and in accordance with standards, clinical agency requirements, and university policies and procedures.

Evaluate students in both didactic and or clinical courses as assigned.

Collaborate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies for congruency with university policies-ensuring any differences are justified by nursing program goals and outcomes.

Ensure students are in compliance for practicums by reviewing clinical requirements with the CNA or FNP Track Coordinator in the established system 2 February 16, 2022 (Castlebranch).

Ensure to maintain all licensure, clinical and university requirements. Attend trainings and continuing education as required and provided.

Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the University. This position is a non-tenured, adjunct position with teaching responsibilities specific to the MSN and/or DNP programs at Bay Path University.

Compensation: $500 - $1,200 per credit. Minimum of 5 years working in a public school setting, teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Requirements:

A doctorate degree is required. If the doctorate is not in nursing an MSN is required.

Current, active, and unencumbered license, as a Registered Nurse in territory of practice required.

Current, active, and unencumbered license as an advanced practice nursing in territory of practice required or teaching DNP FNP or advanced clinical courses.

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and networking skills.

An ability to work in a team environment.

Leadership, project management, analytical and strategic skills.

Organizational skills and attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to work independently, multi-task, use good judgment, work in a vibrant academic environment and meet deadlines.

Proficient computer and data management information systems.

Ability to negotiate, creatively problem solve and interact in diverse clinical settings.

Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and within FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.

All new employees must complete the FERPA, Anti-Harassment, and any other required online trainings within 15 days of employment.

Should have demonstrated ability to build working relationships with people having a wide variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences different from ones' own.
