OPEN POSITION:

Position: Cook

Department: Dietary

Location: The Heartlands. Marlette, MI

Hours: Casual. Days. Hours could be 6a-2:30p or 11:30a-8p depending on the department need.

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Cook! We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in working with older adults desired. Must have a genuine desire to assist older adults with Dementia

Previous experience in a health care facility food service department preferred.

Must be able to communicate well with residents, their family members and other staff

Must be mature, friendly and enjoy working with people

Neat in appearance and good personal hygiene

Must be 18 years of age

Must be CPR/First Aid Certified.(willing to provide training if needed)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed/instructed by the Food Service Team Leader to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
