Essential Job Functions: Below are the core responsibilities that define this role:
Complete all necessary training, including:
Operations Manager Development Plan
Basic Operations Training
Manager Training
Food Safety Certification (Serv Safe) and Manager Certification
Any additional training mandated by the company
Ensure guests consistently receive outstanding service
Maintain optimal staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent
Provide effective training, mentoring, and development for team members while holding them accountable for performance
Create efficient work schedules to maximize sales and manage labor costs
Plan and delegate tasks, clearly communicating expectations and adapting as necessary
Uphold standards for service, product quality, and cleanliness
Promote a positive culture and high team morale through leadership and setting a strong example
Drive sales growth and manage profitability through cost control and team development
Build community relationships to enhance sales and service
Control operational costs, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures
Conduct performance reviews for crew members and assist with those for managers
Ensure compliance with all company and legal guidelines
Utilize management tools for maintaining accurate and current records
Review daily performance metrics and create action plans to enhance profitability and guest experience
Other Responsibilities:
Resolve guest and team member complaints respectfully and promptly
Maintain clear communication with various departments such as maintenance, training, human resources, payroll, and accounting
Exhibit flexibility in performing tasks beyond the typical parameters of this position
Ensure team adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
Escalate issues to your supervisor when necessary
Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Job Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
Availability for a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
Successful completion of drug screen and motor vehicle report
Subject to periodic, random drug screenings and monthly motor vehicle checks
Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively
Previous leadership experience is required
Capability Requirements: The following capabilities are essential:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Occasional stooping, bending, and climbing, including using ladders
Regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds
Frequent use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
Effective communication skills in speech, reading, and writing
Strong observational skills to respond to the environment
Ability to work in diverse temperature conditions and exposure to food allergens
Safe operation of restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers
