RESPONSIBILITIES
Foster a welcoming and warm environment for the children in your care.
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Communicate and collaborate with other workers in the classroom effectively.
Communicate in a timely manner
with
the Early Childhood Coordinator on matters of scheduling and absences.
Communicate with parents at drop off, pick up, and other times as needed.
Help clean and reset the room after class time. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Requirements:
Literacy
- able to read aloud to children. SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Time management/following a schedule
Clear communication with other workers and leadership
Adapt to the needs of the classroom
Flexibility INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONS REQUIREMENT
A track record of servant leadership, humility, and a teachable
spirit.

Demonstrates the Godly character as outlined in 1Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality. PHYSICAL FACTORS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Lift 30 lbs.
Mobility/balance - able to walk steadily
Tolerance for loud noise levels. POSITIONS RELATIONSHIPS
Accountability
Shall be directly accountable to the Early Childhood Coordinator.
Team Relationships
Collaborate with other team members effectively POSITION DETAILS
Regular, part-time, non-exempt,
3-9 hours per week.
Tuesdays 9a-12p and/or Thursdays 9a-12p.
Wednesday 6-8:45pm optional.
Working
with children ranging from 0-10
years - dependent on applicants'
ability, interest and program needs.
Substitute options available.
Occasional extra hours available- days and times varied.
Hourly pay rate $18.50 per hour - for paid positions. Volunteer opportunities available.
