Clinical Psychologist - Veteran Disability Assessments

We are excited to invite a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform vital medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process, helping those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.

Review and analyze behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.

Accurately document findings and complete the required VA forms with attention to detail.

Please note: This role focuses solely on evaluations; you will not be involved in treatment or prescribing medication. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Position Details:

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday to Wednesday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) or Full-Time options available.

Location: In-person role.

Caseload: On average, assess 4 Veterans per day.

Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

A compassionate Psychologist with a passion for supporting the Veteran community.

Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.

A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans and their families.

Requirements:

Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program.

Active and unrestricted Psychology license.

Comfort with technology for record review and documentation.
