CERTIFICATION Current and Valid Paraprofessional License

REQUIREMENTS:

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 175 Day - Full Time

START DATE: August 19, 2025

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS

Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.

Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train.

Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration; Positive attitude and dependability a must.

Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs. PAY AND BENEFITS

$17.00/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
