Truck Driver - CDL A

Join Our Team as a Truck Driver at XPO!

What You'll Need to Succeed:

At least 21 years of age

Valid Class A commercial driver's license

Safe driving record and history

Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment

Pass a DOT drug test; no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years

Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical

Availability for a flexible schedule up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating forklifts

Already possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements

What You'll Do on a Typical Day:

Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples

Provide excellent customer service while generating sales leads

Load and unload freight efficiently

Physical Requirements:

Lift objects frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.

Safely maneuver a converter dolly with an average weight of approximately 128 lbs.

Climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer safely

Sit for extended periods, operate heavy equipment and forklifts

Walk and stand for prolonged periods, often on uneven surfaces

Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary

Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in all weather conditions while safely transporting materials
