Labor and Employment Defense Associate Attorney

Akerman LLP is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 2 to 4 years of labor and employment defense experience to join our dynamic national labor and employment practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation and employment counseling experience, having represented clients before federal and state courts as well as government agencies. Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in:

Counseling employers on labor and employment law issues

Conducting witness interviews and investigations

Drafting position statements and employment agreements

Preparing employee handbooks and workplace policies

Supporting employment-related litigation

This position is available in our Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, or West Palm Beach offices, and may offer a hybrid work arrangement.

To qualify, candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of The Florida Bar.
