Summary :
Our client produces branded as well as private-label and co-manufactured baked goods in a state-of-the art SQF certified facility.
The Maintenance manager will be re sponsible for the daily management and scheduling of maintenance department and employees. Responsible for preventative maintenance schedule, management and monitoring. Takes a strategic, forward-thinking role in regards to maintenance department management and production equipment oversight as well as facility maintenance.

Relocation Assistance Primary Responsibilities:
Management of maintenance equipment, staff, facilities and budgeting
Conducts communication meetings with maintenance staff.
Manages daily activities of Maintenance Leads and Mechanics ensuring all maintenance employees are productive, completing assignments, and adhering to procedures.
Ensures all Leads and Mechanics are trained and follow GMP's, OSHA Safety compliance, Food Safety, operational and company guidelines/policies.
Supervises work assignments and ensures that each mechanic is effectively utilized.
Monitors and manages employee work assignments, hours, and overtime to achieve stated objectives and control budget.
Conducts timely performance evaluations of subordinates and encourages and works with subordinate to reach department and personal development goals.
Assist with the preparation of the maintenance budget (annually)
Manages receiving budget within operational procedures.
Enforces company policies through communications and documented training
Assists production department in monitoring productivity, downtime and waste to standards.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years previous food production maintenance experience. Preference for dough, mixing, ovens, bakery environment.
Desired Skills and Knowledge: Personal organizational skills, excellent people skills, budgeting, positive leadership skills,electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting and repair knowledge, welding and sheet metal fabrication, previous capital project experience a plus, computer skills.
