We are seeking a highly motivated Co-op Associate (January 2026 - April/May 2026) to join our Corporate Development and ETF teams for the winter term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in finance or asset/wealth management to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
As an Associate, you will provide support across a wide range of strategic and analytical projects.
The role requires an interest in financial markets, particularly the wealth and asset management sectors.
The Associate will play a critical role in supporting Ninepoint's corporate development and ETF teams.
This role requires an understanding of basic corporate finance along with financial markets, including the wealth and asset management sectors.
Conducting market research and industry analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in asset management and financial markets.
Preparing presentations, reports, and pitch decks for senior management and stakeholders.
Analyzing competitive positioning, key performance indicators, and growth strategies of industry peers.
Participating in cross-functional projects to support business growth and operational efficiencies.
Conduct product-level analytics including AUM trends, fund flows, competitor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and yield/distribution comparisons across Canadian, U.Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or master’s program in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
A basic understanding of corporate finance, M&A, and investment principles.
Previous internship, co-op, or coursework related to finance, investments, or corporate strategy (an asset but not required). Hands-on experience in corporate and business development within the asset management industry.
Exposure to high-level strategic decision-making and financial analysis.
Networking opportunities within the firm and industry.
