Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Medical Center in southern Alabama is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to enhance our interdisciplinary palliative care program. Ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain an ACHPN certification. Compensation with comprehensive benefits package and $15k sign on bonus included. Practice Highlights:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

No call required and no weekends

Inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units

Collaborate with referring providers to coordinate a plan of care

No outpatient responsibilities HOSPITAL: One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama serving over 600,000 within a 75-mile radius. Robust IM Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults. Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs, 3 CTs, and PET Scanner. Pain Management and Physiatry services provided through outpatient clinics on Southeast Health campus.

22 OR suites with 2 Endovascular suites and open heart suites

Level 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physicians

One of only 3 comprehensive stroke centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for Neuroendovascular procedures
