Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Traverse City that are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems issues.

Execute corrective repairs on malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.

Install, commission, and calibrate new manufacturing equipment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Adhere to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.

Identify and implement improvements to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including industrial controls and motor systems.

Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Experience executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical blueprints.

Adherence to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Basic PLC troubleshooting skills and familiarity with control logic.

Bonus Qualifications

Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.

Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Welding or fabrication skills.

HVAC/R certification.
